Satellite Television

Ever since I was a child, I would watch football, basketball, volleyball games because I loved sports. I would watching TV with my father for hours. When I went out with the guys in front of the block, we would often play football. I wanted very much to play and be good at a sport, because I heard from my parents that it would make me into a big strong man. When I reached high school, I wanted to play for the high school basketball team. I heard that the team were championships contenders so I went everywhere with the team. I was very excited, and I thought maybe I’d become a famous basketball player someday. I started preparations to to try out for the team, but when they did pre-selection I was not chosen to play in that team. I was very disappointed. I got home and I told my father. In a few days, we went together to the grandparents to visit. When we arrived I looked in the back yard and I was surprised to discover a basketball board, laminated fiberglass, with wood and reinforced with fiberglass coating rigid on the inside and outside, just like the one I had at the gym high school.

Since my father was a high school basketball coach, he started to do training with me. I have greatly improved at basketball a few months. I knew very well the rules and also learned to play very well. At preselection next season, I entered one of the top teams. Since then five years passed, during which we won many matches and my father several times had occasion to see me play on television. Several times, when my team played closer to home, my father was always present in the stands. He made the gallery and came first to congratulate us for success, after the game.

I’m very proud that I got here and I hope my career to be emerging, because I feel great when I play.
